The following images of Scranton and Wilkes Barre trolleys in operation were recently provided (July/August 2021) by David Lloyd Klepper, a New York City native who is presently living in Israel studying Rabbinics.. In the summer of 1950 he was an 18 year old summer camp photography counselor at Camp With-A-Wind in Honesdale, Pennsylvania when he took several Wednesday days-off and traveled to the Wilkes Barre Scranton area. The camera used was a Leica D with a F3.5 50mm. Elmar lens. Mr. Klepper is a distinguished acoustical consultant specializing in worship space buildings. He holds SM and SB degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - the web site www.proaudioencyclopedia.com provides additional information on his audio work. He is a past president of the New York based Electric Railroaders Association and is actively involved at the Shore Line Trolley Museum in Connecticut and contributes regularly to the Trains and Classic Trains magazines website forums as well as being a member of both the American Guild of Organists and the Organ Historical Society.
